A commercial agent is defined under the Commercial Agency Law No. 120 of 1982 (and the Ministry of Economy’s Decree No. 342 of 1982) as a natural person or legal entity that submits tenders or concludes purchase, sale, lease contracts or provides services on behalf of and for producers, merchants or distributors. Such a person or entity must be registered in the Commercial Agents and Brokers Register at the Ministry of Industry and Foreign Trade.
