The Africa 2018 Forum is an international, landmark event hosted under the High Patronage of H.E. Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt, aiming to promote greater economic integration through increased investment flows into Africa.
This year’s edition will take place from the 8-9 of December 2018 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt, and is organized by the Government of Egypt – through the Ministry of Investment and International Cooperation – and COMESA Regional Investment Agency (RIA).

The two-day Forum will convene more than 1,000 leaders in business and policy from across Africa and the world. It promises to be the biggest and most important gathering taking place in Africa this year. With Egypt and President Al Sisi, taking over the chair of the African Union in 2019 it will be a Forum that will help shape Africa’s agenda in 2019. It will also precede the Intra-African trade fair that will take place in Cairo between the 11-17 December, allowing participants to join both events.
Africa 2018 is a unique business-to-business and government-to-business platform, bringing together policymakers, financiers, leading industrialists, and young entrepreneurs. This year’s Forum will focus on developing intra-African investments and the effort to create the world’s largest trading bloc of 1.2 bn people.
The programme features world-renown keynote speakers, interactive panel discussions, expert presentations, and B2B engagement opportunities.
The Forum will include a by-invitation CEO roundtable where captains of industry will be able to bring up to the African leadership key constraints to greater investment and jointly develop solutions to foster greater private sector growth:
